Nationwide Response to Somali Pirates
Germany: Eleven crew members of the container ship "Magellantar" cut off power supplies and took emergency food for a few days after the pirates showed up, before entering and locking the doors at the seamen's shelter.
The pirates seized the ship, but were unable to move the ship because they could not handle the complicated rescue navigation system. Later, a reported U.S. warship appeared to capture all hungry pirates alive.
Russia: The Russian Navy freed the captured pirates from the scene after rescuing the hijacked tanker "Moscovowski Univercite."
The method of release was released on the Mangmangdae Sea, 540 kilometers off the coast, after carrying the pirates on an unpowered rubber boat. The British newspaper claimed that all the pirates were dead.
In another case, Russia threatened to approach a destroyer and a large group of combat ships to the pirates who hijacked its commercial vessels and launch intensive artillery fire. The pirates begged to release the hostages unconditionally, and the hostages were rescued unharmed. When the hostages were handed over, the Russian navy carried the pirates to a small transport ship and shot and sank them with a destroyer shell.
France: Since 2008, its ships have been hijacked by Somali pirates four times, but all have been rescued by military operations. Sarkozy ordered a thorough retribution, and the French navy sank four pirate ships and six ships. All 35 arrested pirates were taken to France and punished.
When the Musk-Elabama was hijacked in 2009 and one of its captains was taken hostage, special forces were mobilized to kill three pirates and rescue the captain.
North Korea: The cargo ship Daeheungdan was hijacked by Somali pirates in 2007. However, 22 crew members of the ship took out hidden guns and engaged in a major battle with pirates.
Three pirates were killed and four others were captured at the scene. The North Korean crew demanded a ransom from the station, saying the pirates were returned at a cost of $1 million per person.
◇ What the lion is most afraid of (humor)

Kindergarten students on a field trip to the zoo stopped in front of the lion's. The teacher looked at the lion and asked the children.
What is the scariest animal in the world?"
"The lion."
"Then what animal is the lion afraid of?"
‘No,’ the children replied.
But a man standing quietly behind the children said as if he were giving it to him.
.
.
"There is. The lioness."

◇ Masai boy's anti-apocalypse method
Toure's first idea was to use fire. But it didn't work very well. The fire rather allowed the lions to find the barn better in the middle of the night.
The second idea was a scarecrow. But the lions were not so easy. For a day or two he saw the scarecrow and just went back, but the next day he came and found out it was not moving, and he took the cows with him without hesitation.
Then one night, Toure was circling near the barn with a torch, and the lions wouldn't come at him along that day. Tourele found out that lions were not just afraid of lights, but of moving lights.
The next day Tourele searched around for scraps. Old car batteries, motorbike turnlights, switches and light bulbs were available. And he created what he called "lion lights."
First, charge the battery from a solar panel, then light the bulb with power from the battery, and use the switch to make the bulbs flash in order. Finally, light bulbs are laid out in the direction of the lions' approach. At night the lions come and look, the lights flash in a row, making it look as if a man was circling the barn with a torch.
Since setting up the lion fire, there has never been a lion attack. Since then, Tourele has been willing to set up a lion ball in seven households in the village.
Tourere’s invention gradually spread throughout Kenya on word of mouth, and is useful in blocking not only lions but other predators such as hyenas and leopards.

◇ An African proverb
* When planting trees, plant three trees.
One for the shade.
One for the fruit.
The last one is for beauty.
The best time to plant trees was 20 years ago. The next best time is now.
* If you go fast, go alone, if you go far, go together.
