Three turtles packed the kimbap(korea food) and went on a picnic. But when I tried to eat gimbap, I didn't bring any water.

◇ 거북이 세마리 (유머)

​

거북이 세 마리가 김밥을 싸서 소풍을 갔다. 그런데 김밥을 먹으려고 보니 물을 안가져 온 것이었다.

​

결국 거북이는 가위 바위보를 해서 진 거북이가 물을 뜨러 가기로 했다. 결국 한 거북이가 졌다.

​

그 거북이는 자기가 물을 뜨러 간사이에 나머지 두 마리 거북이가 김밥을 다 먹을까봐 걱정이 되어 올때 까지 김밥을 절대로 먹지말라고 말하고 물을 뜨러갔다.

​

남은 두 마리 거북이는 물뜨러간 거북이를 기다렸다. 한시간, 두시간... 그래도 물뜨러간 그 거북이는 오지 않았다.

​

기다리다 지친 두마리의 거북이가 김밥 하나를 먹으려고 하는 순간 물 뜨러간 거북이가 바위 뒤에서 나오면서 하는 말

"야!! 니네 그런 식으로 나오면 나 물 뜨러 안 간다!!"

위 유머를 읽고 난 후 피식 웃음이 났다. 결국 물을 안 뜨러 간 거북이가 아닌가? 그럼 토끼가 계속 기다렸다면 어떻게 됐을까하는 생각도 든다.마냥 기다렸을까? 아니면 위에 글 처럼 먹었을까? 뒤에서 기다린 토끼도 언제까지 기다렸을까? 벌별 쓸데없는 생각을 다 해본다.

그 느린 거북이를 선택한 것도 재미있지만 200년 까지 오래 사는 거북이를 생각하니 또 다른 생각도 든다. 마치 불교에서 화두를 생각하듯이...

​

거북이 이야기가 나왔으니 토끼와 거북이 경주 시합 생각이 난다. 토끼가 이긴다는 상식에서 벗어나 거북이 입장에서 이기는 전략을 볼 필요가 있다. 세상은 환경이 빠르게 변하고 어떻게 생각하느냐에 따라 승패가 달라지기 때문이다.

◇ 거북이가 토끼를 이기는 전략

​

1. 산이 아니라 바다에서 경주한다.

​

2. 평생 달리기 경주를 한다. 거북이의 수명이 훨씬 더 길다.

​

3. 내려오기 경주를 한다. 뒷다리가 긴 토끼는 내려오는 것이 힘들지만 거북이는 데굴데굴 굴러 내려올 수 있다.

​

4. 결승점을 집으로 한다. 거북이의 집은 자신의 등껍질이다.

​

5. 달리기의 출발 시점을 10년 후로 한다. 10년 후면 토끼는 이 세상에 없다.

​

​

과거의 방법을 계속 고수하면 안된다. 상대방도 머리를 쓰기 때문이다. 수 많은 전사에서 같은 방법으로 안이하게 생각하다 패한 경우가 많다. 나만큼 상대도 목숨을 걸고 싸우기에 호락호락하지 않다.

​

그래서 손자는 이겨놓고 싸운다고 했다.

선승구전(先勝求戰) 확실히 승리가 예측된 경우에는 전쟁을 하되 승패가 모호한 경우에는 전쟁을 하지 말라고 말한다.

​

또 누군가는 토끼는 경쟁자를 보고 갔기 때문에 졌고, 거북이는 목표를 보고 갔기 때운에 이겼다라고 말한다.

​

토끼는 몸이 유연해 고개도 잘 돌려 여기저기를 보면서 유혹이나 딴 생각을 하기 쉽지만 거북이는 등짝도 가리고 고개도 돌리기가 어려워 앞만 보고 뚜벅뚜벅 걸어가서 이기지 않았을까 하는 생각도 든다.
