Smallpox, which has claimed the most lives in history, can find a cure thanks to a British doctor named Edward Jenner. 

He noted that women who milk cows are not infected with smallpox. At first, no one showed interest in his argument. But Jenner took note of this mediocre fact and created a revolutionary cure.

Jenner estimated that women milking cows had the disease long ago. This is why they thought they were immune to smallpox, similar to that of a head. His guess is perfectly consistent with modern techniques for making vaccines. Cholera, malaria and other infectious diseases developed this way.

The great moment of progress begins with the ordinary routine of paying attention to very little things. It's easier said than done to pay attention at a very small moment. This requires consideration, imagination, and curiosity.

A crew member of the American Airlines found that many passengers did not eat olives on salads. I thought this might be useful, so I reported it to the top right away. 

After the survey, the airline found that: Salads had different prices depending on the number of ingredients inside. Salads of one to four ingredients were less expensive than those of five to eight. Olives was the fifth ingredient. 

Passengers did not eat olives anyway, so the price could remain the same even if olives were excluded. The airline saved $500,000 a year by replacing olives with four-material salads.
