5. 상수는 항시 공수가 겸비된 수를 택하며, 하수의 착수(着手)는 어쨌든 그 한편에 치우친다.

7. 상수는 맥(脈)과 형태를 중히 여기고, 하수는 자충(自充)을 한다. 

8. 상수는 사석(死石)을 아끼지 않으며, 하수는 한점마저도 버리기를 꺼려한다.
