At the Yalta meeting, Stalin asked Roosevelt what was the average wage for American workers.

Roosevelt: Probably $300 a month.

Stalin: So how much do you need to live?

Roosevelt: It would cost about $200.

Stalin: So where do you spend it with 100 dollars left?

Roosevelt: That is his responsibility, not mine.

After answering this, Roosevelt asked.

Roosevelt: What is the average wage for Russian workers?

Stalin: It's going to be about 800 rubles a month.

Roosevelt: How much does it cost to live?

Stalin: 1000 rubles.

Roosevelt: Then we need 200 more rubles a month to live. How do you raise the money?

Stalin: That's his job, not mine.

얄타회담에서 스탈린이 루스벨트에게 미국 근로자의 평균 임금이 얼마냐고 물었다.

루스벨트 : 아마 한 달에 300달러쯤 될 겁니다.

스탈린 : 그럼 생활비는 얼마나 필요합니까?

루스벨트 : 대충 200달러쯤 들겠지요.

스탈린 : 그럼 100달러가 남는데 어디 사용합니까?

루스벨트 : 그건 그가 알아서 할 일이지 내가 알 바가 아닙니다.

이렇게 대답하고 나서 루스벨트가 물었다.

루스벨트 : 러시아 근로자들의 평균 임금은 얼마입니까?

스탈린 : 한 달에 한 800루블이 될 겁니다.

루스벨트 : 그럼 생활비로 나가는 돈은 얼마가 됩니까?

스탈린 : 1000루블입니다.

루스벨트 : 그럼 한 달에 200루블이 더 있어야 살아가 겠군요. 그 돈은 어떻게 마련합니까?

나는 태어나면서부터 아는 사람이 아니라,

호고 민이구지자야
好古 敏以求之者也
옛것을 좋아해 힘써 그것을 구한 사람이다.

공자는 배움을 추구하는 자세로 사람을 4 부류로 나누고 있다.

태어나면서부터 아는 자는 상등이요, 배워서 아는 자는 그 다음이요, 곤란을 겪은 후 배우는 자는 그 다음 다음이요, 곤란을 겪어도 배우지 않는 자는 백성 중 하등이다.
