◇ Epic

May there be no shame in admiring the green until the day he dies.

죽는 날까지 그린을 우러러 한 점 부끄럼이 없기를

깃대에 이는 바람에도 나는 괴로워했다.

굿샷을 노래하는 마음으로 모든 쪼로나는 공들을 사랑해야지.

그리고 나한테 주어진 오비티로 걸어가야겠다.

오늘 밤에도 지갑이 찬바람에 스치운다.

◇ 맹자의 대장부론

거천하지황거 입천하지정위 행천하지대도
居天下之廣居 立天下之正位
行天下之大道

천하의 넓은 곳에 떳떳이 거쳐하고, 천하의 바른 자리에 떳떳이 서며, 천하의 가장 큰 길을 떳떳이 가는 사람이 대장부다.

득지 여민유지  부득지  독행기도
得志 與民由之 不得志 獨行其道

내뜻을 세상이 알아주면 세상사람과 나의 뜻을 펼쳐 나갈 것이요, 세상이 날 알아주지 않으면 내 홀로 나의 인생을 즐기며 살리라.

부귀불능음 빈천불능이  위무부능거
富貴不能淫 貧賤不能移 威武不能屈

어떤 부귀 영화도 내 뜻을 음란하게 하지 못할 것이오, 어떤 가난과 고난도 내 뜻을 변하게 하지 못할 것이며, 어떤 위협과 협박도 내 뜻을 꺾지는 못할 것이다.

차지 위대장부야
此之 謂大丈夫也

이런 사람을 진정한 대장부라 한다.
