Jung Ro-hwan

It is a medicine that has been prepared for each house in the past.

Japanese soldiers who were dispatched to Manchuria during the Russo-Japanese War in 1904, the period of Japanese imperialism, died of unexplained illnesses, which turned out to be caused by problems with drinking water consumed by soldiers. The medicine developed by this is Jung Ro-hwan.

When Jung Ro-hwan first came out, his name was "'; this means "the pill" (), which means "the pill" (the pill) to punish Russia (the) in the sense that "the" conquers.

After winning the Russo-Japanese War, Japan sold Russia under the name "Jung Ro-hwan ()" as a drug that punished Russia; and it spread to Taiwan and Korea through the Japanese colonial period.

However, after World War II, the name will be changed to Jung Ro-hwan by GHQ (Combined Forces Command).

◇ 정로환

과거 집집마다 마련해 놓은 상비약으로 정로환은 일본에서 유래한 약이다.

일본 제국주의 시대인 1904년 러일전쟁 당시 만주 지역에 파병된 일본 병사들이 원인 모를 병으로 죽어갔다. 원인은 병사들이 먹는 식수에 문제가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이로인해 개발된 약이 정로환이다.

정로환이 처음 나왔을 때 이름은 '征露丸'이었다. 이는 '征'이 정복한다는 의미로 러시아(露)를 정벌(征)하는 환약(丸)이라는 뜻이다.

일본에서는 러일전쟁에서 승리한 후 러시아를 정벌한 약이라 하여 '정로환(征露丸)'이라는 이름을 붙여서 팔았다. 그리고 일제강점기를 거치면서 대만과 한국에도 퍼지게 되었다.

하지만 제2차 세계 대전 이후 GHQ(연합국 총 사령부)에 의해 명칭이 정로환(正露丸)으로 바뀌게 된다.

우리나라에서도 ‘征露丸’이 아닌 ‘正露丸’이란 이름으로 팔리고 있다.


◇ 부대심청한(不對心淸閑)
일일이 대꾸하지 않으면 마음이 맑고 편안해진다.

惡人罵善人 善人摠不對
나쁜 사람이 좋은 사람을 욕하면 좋은 사람은 일체 대꾸하지 마라.

不對心淸閑 罵者口熱沸
대꾸 않는 쪽은 마음이 맑고 한가하나 욕하는 자는 입만 흥분해서 들끓는다.


* 행복한 사람은 남을 위해 기도하고, 불행한 사람은 자기만을 위해 기도한다.

* 배에 힘을 주는 사람은 행복한 사람이고, 목에 힘을 주는 사람은 불행한 사람이다.

* 차를 탈 수 있는데 걷는 사람은 행복한 사람이고, 걸을 수 있는데 타는 사람은 불행한 사람이다.

* 공과 사가 분명한 사람은 행복한 사람이고, 공과 사를 구분 못하는 사람은 불행한 사람이다.
