컴퓨터와 네트워크 기술의 발전에 따라 정보사회가 되었고 정보사회에서는 정보가 매우 중요한 자원이다. 이에 정보를
어떻게 다루느냐가 중요해졌다.

예전에는 음악을 좋아하는 사람들이 테이프나 CD를 사서 소유했지만, 이제는 언제, 어디서든 스마트폰으로 인터넷에 접속하면 음악을 들을 수 있다.
크리스마스 캐럴을 듣고 싶으면 지금은 인터넷 포털 사이트 또는 유튜브에 접속해 캐럴을 찾아 들으면 된다.

앞으로는 상품을 많이 생산하는 기업보다 콘텐츠, 지적 재산이 많은 기업이 장기적으로 더 유리할 수 있다. 문화를 창조하며 고객들과 장기적인 접속(관계)을 유지해 나가는 기업이 미래의 승리자가 될 것이다.

또한 자본이 아니라 정보에 접속할 기회가 많은 사람이 부자가 된다. 미국의 마크 주커 버그는 20대에 사람과 사람을 연결시키는 페이스북을 만들어 세계적인 부자가 되었다.

접속의 시대에는 젊은 사람들이 자주 정보에 접속하기 때문에 돈을 더 많이 벌 가능성이 높아진다. 반면 나이가 들면 정보에 접속할 기회가 적기 때문에 돈을 벌기가 어려워진다. 그래서 소익부 노익빈(少益富老益貧)라는 말도 생겨났다. 접속의 시대에는 젊은 사람은 점점 부자가 되고, 나이 든 사람들은 점점 가난해진다는 것이다.

◇ 고혈압 증상

머리가 지끈지끈하며 두통이 끊이질 않고, 가만히 있었는데도 숨이 차고 답답한 증상을 동반한다. 또한 이유 없이 손발이 저리고, 눈이 충혈되고 쉽게 피로하다.

신체적으로 무리하지 않았는데 코피가 나고, 시도 때도 없이 얼굴이 빨개지고, 비행기를 탄 듯 귀가 윙윙거리며 울리는 등의 증상이 있다.
