Misunderstanding, 오해, 단이절중난최 (單易折衆難摧)

◇ Misunderstanding

Someone invited four close friends for their birthday. Three friends arrived on time, but the other one didn't come long after.

Then the owner ran out of luck.

"Why isn't the person who should come like this coming?"

A friend who heard this suddenly changed his face and became angry.

"Didn't anyone come yet? So are we the ones who shouldn't come?"

As soon as he finished speaking, he turned and left.

One friend didn't come, and another friend went away in a fit of anger, and the owner said with more impatience.

"Oh, the one who shouldn't have gone has left.”

This time, one of the two remaining friends got angry.

"My friend, what are you talking about? So isn't it us who have to go?

If that's the case, I'll go for you."

He's gone, too.

The rest of my life watching this scene.

Friend has given advice to his master from a tender heart.

"My friend, you should have been careful with your words."

Owner

"I think you misunderstood everything I said. I didn't mean it to those guys.......," he said.

Then even the last remaining friend looked different.

"What! So you were talking about me?"

Finally, even the other friend went home angry.

◇ 오해

어떤 사람이 생일을 맞아 절친한 친구 네 명을 초대했다. 세 친구는 제 시간에 도착했는데 나머지 한 친구는 한참이 지나도록 오지 않았다.

그러자 주인이 운을 뗐다.

“왜 와야 할 사람이 이렇게 안 오는 거지?”

이 말을 들은 한 친구가 갑자기 안색이 바뀌며 화를 냈다.

“와야 할 사람이 아직 안 왔다니? 그럼 우리는 오지 말아야 할 사람들인가?”

그는 말을 마치기 무섭게 돌아서서 가 버렸다.

한 친구는 안 오고, 또 한 친구는 화가 나서 가 버리자 주인이 더욱 초조해하며 말했다.

“어휴, 가지 말아야 할 사람이 그만 가 버렸군.”

이번엔 남아 있던 두 친구 중 하나가 화를 냈다.

“친구, 무슨 말을 그렇게 하나? 그럼 가야 할 사람은 바로 우리라는 얘기가 아닌가?
정 그렇다면 나도 가 주겠네.”
그 친구 역시 가 버렸다.

이 광경을 지켜보기만 하던 남은 친구가
우정 어린 마음에서 주인에게 충고를 했다.

“친구, 말을 조심해서 했어야지.”

주인은
“내 말을 모두 오해한 것 같네. 그 친구들에게 한 말이 아니었는데…….”라고 했다.

그러자 마지막 남은 친구마저 안색이 달라졌다.

“뭐야! 그렇다면 나를 두고 한 말이란 건가?”

결국 나머지 한 친구마저 화를 내며 집에 갔다.
